Founder & Creative Director
Hi, I'm Carly! Owner and lead designer of the full service wedding planning firm, Carly Elisabeth Events! I have a passion for finely curating signature events that are thoughtfully rooted in refinement & love! I am a UNC Chapel Hill alum with a degree in Psychology. Throughout my studies, what I loved most was the art of communication and social interaction. I approach planning much like I approach life, with creative thinking, unwavering confidence, and focused decision making. I find this profession rewarding because after all the planning, nothing brings greater joy than happy newlyweds lavishing in their once in a lifetime soirée!
When I'm not planning an event or cheering on the Tar Heels, I am planning my next vacation. I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures (& trying all the tasty foods)! On a recent trip to Italy, I found a new love for gelato— currently perfecting new recipes at home. In my leisure time you can find me on the pickleball court, babying my hydrangeas, or discovering new date night spots. There's nothing I cherish more than making memories with family and spending wholesome girl time with my best friends!

July 14th, 2026 | Nantucket, MA.
In awe of the most perfect week Drew planned for us and our families on Nantucket. Knowing my love for hydrangeas, he proposed on the Old North Wharf surrounded by the quaint cottages & breathtaking blooms. From the private sail charter to the iconic Sconset Bluff Walk and everything in between it truly was a trip full of cherishable moments!
Drew is a lead assistant at Carly Elisabeth Events. He is the designated groomsmen liaison and assists with event design installation. As an accomplished luxury lighting designer, Drew's keen eye and attention to detail makes him a valuable asset to our team.
